The Jim and Alice Boland Memorial Golf Tournament

Our Golf Tournament, organized by volunteers from our Board of Directors and parents, is our largest annual fundraiser. The proceeds from this event are used to support our Scholarship Program, Capital Projects and to expand programs at the Center. Owego Gymnastics and Activity Center is a 501(c)(3) entity; your donation or sponsorship is tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

Our Annual Golf Tournament is known as “The Jim and Alice Boland Memorial Golf Tournament”. Jim & Alice Boland, my parents were a big part of the Center from the inception and we honor them for their time and energy during their lives helping countless families through our organization.

Tournament Information

Schedule:

Sign in – Coffee/Donuts                 opens at 9:00 a.m.

Golf Cart Assignment                      9:50 a.m.

Rules Overview                                  9:55  a.m

Shot Gun Start                                   10:00 a.m.

Luncheon & Awards                        to follow play

Individual Golfer Entry Fee:          Includes green fees, golf cart, goodie bag, and awards luncheon

Luncheon Only Fee:                        $25.00 

Format:                                                 Captain & Crew

Each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and all players play their second shots from that spot. The best of the second shots is determined, then all play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed.

   Must pay for a team of 4 in order to play
